The budget and financial reports in this series relate directly to the objectives of the Office of Institutional Studies and Services. The reports were either generated by the Office or produced by another university office based on support provided by the Office. The series contains budget appropriations requests for the 1983-1984 and 1988-1989 fiscal years. These reports contain summary information about UAB schools and departments or other programs for which the University sought state support. The summary information includes an overview of the program's history, funding requests, and past funding amounts. The series also consists of operating budgets for the fiscal years 1982-1983 through 1987-1988. The budgets provide the amount of monies received by UAB broken down by school, department, or other program. Also included in the series are reports developed by UAB that reflect the economic impact of the campus on the City of Birmingham and surrounding area.
